Residential Rehabilitation
First Avenue – Kyeta Place is a residential apartment setting for adults who have a mental illness and a goal of independent living.

Transitional Living
Provides daily support to persons so they can successfully make the transition from intensive housing supports to successful interdependent community living.

Supported Independent Living
For individuals receiving a housing subsidy and for those who require day-to-day support along with a housing subsidy.

Individualized Living Options
A housing arrangement that an individual has selected to meet their specific needs.


Personal Development

Employment Readiness
Our STEP program is designed to help people living with a mental illness gain skills needed to acquire and maintain employment.

Peer Support
A network of individuals who are developing tools for mental wellness through workshops, support groups and one-on-one interaction.

The Road to Recovery

Communitas Mental Health Programs support individuals who have a diagnosed mental illness. Our Mental Health sector provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of those who are at different places on their road to recovery.

Our principles of service are built on the philosophy of psychosocial rehabilitation, respect and appreciation for all.
